Chris Eibl Is Newest Inductee To The NFFC Hall of Fame
Chris Eibl of Chicago, Illinois is the newest inductee to the NFFC Hall of Fame as he becomes the 9th person in our Hall of Fame. The 36-year-old has competed in the NFFC since 2009 and during 12 years of competition he has won 46 NFFC league titles. That’s right, FORTY-SIX LEAGUE TITLES.
Chris is currently 11th on the NFFC Career Winnings List with $279,600, but it’s his wide range of league titles that stands out. He has won everything from 14-Team Classic league titles to 12-Team Primetime league titles to 12-Team Auction league titles to 14-Team Super Auction League titles to multiple Draft Champions Best Ball league titles. It’s impressive and it’s massive.
Chris first joined the NFFC in 2009 and won his Classic league title while drafting out of Chicago. He finished 29th overall, but competing in the Chicago Classic and the Chicago $650 Auction League hooked him on the live high-stakes events.
He has won a total of 3 Classic league titles since 2009 out of 10 teams, which is a winning percentage of 30% in a contest where your odds of winning are 7%. In the NFFC Primetime, he has won 38.1 percent of his league titles, while in the NFFC Auction Leagues he has won titles 34.4 percent of the time. I’m not talking about cashing, I’m talking about WINNING the league title. It’s pretty amazing.
Here are the number of league titles and number of contests he’s entered for each format:
3 NFFC Classic League Titles (out of 10 teams) – 2009, 2012, 2013
8 NFFC Primetime League Titles (out of 21 teams) – 2012, 2013, 2013, 2015, 2018, 2018, 2019, 2020
11 NFFC Auction League Titles (out of 32 teams) – 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2017, 2018, 2018, 2019, 2020
2 NFFC Super League Titles (out of 13 teams) – 2015, 2020
1 NFFC 14-Team Super Auction League Title (out of 8 teams) – 2015
2 NFFC Kickoff Gridiron 14-Team League Titles – 2019, 2020
18 NFFC Draft Champions Best Ball League Titles (out of 48 teams) 2 league titles in 2018, 7 league titles in 2019, 9 league titles in 2020
1 – NFFC $1,000 Satellite League Title
One of the most amazing streaks that Chris has right now involves the auction leagues. Chris has won at least one league title in nine straight seasons and he’s coming back for more this year in Las Vegas. But think about that: In one of the toughest formats we have where everyone has the same shot at every single player, Chris has won a league title every year since 2012. That’s pretty amazing with the competition that we have in the NFFC.
And while he hasn’t won a coveted overall title just yet, he’s been close and he’s on the verge of winning one very soon. In 2020, he finished 3rd overall in the NFFC Classic, while also finishing 2nd and 4th overall in the NFFC Draft Champions National Championship. He finished 4th overall in the 2018 NFFC Draft Champions National Championship and he also finished 18th and 24th in that format in 2019. He also finished 5th overall in the 2018 NFFC Primetime and 8th overall in the 2018 NFFC Classic.
So he’s close to a national title, but nothing on the resume just yet. Yet, I say.
But the resume over the last 12 years is just too impressive to ignore and so in September in Las Vegas we will honor Chris as the 9th inductee to the NFFC Hall of Fame. He will likely be there both weekends, so we’ll have twice as much time to honor him. Congrats Chris and well done.
Our NFFC Hall of Fame list now includes:
Chris Eibl
Mike Santos & Kurt Kuekes
Chad Schroeder
Michael Edelman
Billy Wasosky
Chris Vaccaro
Jules McLean
Tom Yates
Derek Anderson & Kyle Pope

Thank you Tom, Greg, and Darik! The NFFC weekends in Vegas are my favorite holidays of the year and still make me feel like a kid on Christmas morning every time the plane lands. Really appreciate everything you do to run the best fantasy football contests and am thankful for all of the friendships I've formed over the years attending NFFC events in Chicago and Las Vegas.
Can't wait for September!
Chris

Thank you Mike. Very difficult HOF act to follow with your resume, though I will concede that you are a great guy even though you steal all the players I like in the DCs.Coyote Streakers wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 10:42 amWell deserved one of the very best around and one of best people you will meet!
