Chad Schroeder Wins 2023 NFFC 14-Team Ultimate & $44,000

For the second straight year, Chad Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska swept all of the prizes as he won the 2023 NFFC 14-Team Ultimate League. Chad won a total of $44,000 as he swept the regular-season's h2h and points titles (worth $10,000) and then easily won the Championship Round's $34,000 prize. Chad loves the competition of the 14-team leagues and he's now won this 14-Team Ultimate League two years in a row.

Chad's team finished the regular season with $10,000 after having the best h2h record at 12-2 and most points (2,069.90). That gave him a bye into the money round in Week 17, but before that Riku VihreÃsaari was eliminated in Week 15 and Chris Eibl was eliminated in Week 16, leaving four teams battling for three cash prizes. It's the only NFFC contest where we have six teams make it into the Championship Round and the lowest scoring team is eliminated in Week 15 and then again in Week 16.

Chad entered Week 17 as the top scoring team and he finished with 620.40 points after scoring 159.05 points in Week 17. He finished 64.72 points ahead of Michael Edelman, with Matt Shepherd finishing third. Mike earned $12,000 for his runner-up finish, while Matt earned $6,000 for his third place finish. David Webb won the Consolation Round to earn $1,000.

Chad's Cocktails & Dreams team in Week 17 had Jalen Hurts with 26.85 points, while Travis Etienne added 25.80 points, David Njoku added 18.4 points and Deebo Samuel added 18.2 points. Tyreek Hill was the anchor of this team as he scored 18.90 points in Week 16 and the Miami Kicker even added 23.80 points that week.

Chad drafted from the 3rd spot and he started with Tyreek Hill, Jalen Hurts and Travis Etienne. That will get it done. Great job Chad and congrats on the second straight title in this tough league.

We now have 16 different champions in this contest during the past 18 years as Chad Schroeder becomes our second 2-time champion and the only repeat champion.
