Happy holidays! I agree guys, this multiplier format is a lot of fun and a lot of strategy. There's a lot of strategy right from the start as you pick one player from each of the 12 NFL teams and then add to your roster each week as teams get eliminated. I've always liked this format and I don't think anyone else does this.
The company that has always run this contest for us is all ready to go if we decide to do it again. We can't really do anything until the playoff teams are finalized and we know which players can be added to teams. But if we do this again, we'll definitely do like last year and go with $30, $60 and $120 entry points. That gave everyone a chance to compete last year and it was an easy way for folks to take multiple teams.
Stay tuned. We haven't really talked this through internally other than the fact that we want a post-season contest to keep our NFFC community on the boards for another 4-6 weeks, which hopefully leads us right into the 2011 season...if a labor agreement is reached. So I hear ya on all of this and I like it too. We'll know more soon. Thanks for asking.

NFFC Post-Season Challenge???
It looks like the guys at Fantasy911.com are eager to get the post-season site live and they already have it set up for the $120, $60 and $30 contests. You can enter as many teams as you'd like at each price level and pick your lineups starting on Monday when all post-season teams are determined. Remember, just one player per 12 teams in the first round and the players you pick who have first round byes get no points in Week 1 but double points immediately in Round 2. This is a lot of fun.
Fantasy911.com is running this contest and will be handling all of the credit card charges and prizes. I know these guys well and they are about 10 miles down the road from me. All of you who have played in this contest the last few years know that Tom, Sam, Bruce and the guys there do a great, great job. We don't have real-time scoring, but you can see everyone's lineups and someone always seems to post the scores on our message boards after games are complete. It's been a good way to reward some more prize money, enjoy the post-season and keep the NFFC community together on our boards for 4+ weeks. It's also a good lead-in into the 2011 season.
