with some players you can't take the thug out of them....they have to keep it real

i guess making nfl money wasn't enough for this guy. he had to sell drugs on the side....he had to keep up his street cred.

look at vick....he just signed a HUGE contract with atlanta but still had to have and train and fight and kill dogs. but of course he is a good guy now....totally rehabilitated :rolleyes:

It's amazing to me that Coach Lewis continues to hold a job with the laundry list of criminal offenses his players have amassed over the years. I mean at any point do people question ever hold management responsible for their judge of character? I'm just sayin...

I have been scratching my head for several years regarding Coach Lewis's job security. I can't count the number of Dui's, battery charges, drug offenses, insubordinations,etc...that this team has been dealing with. They need a new sherrif in Cinci..I mean coach. It has to be a money thing. They gave him an extension about 2 years ago. Bring in Cower before another team hires him. Management is certainly giving the impression that they don't care.

The only way the Bengals can compete is by taking superior talent with questionable backgrounds.

No Bengal player will resign there. Paul Brown is a bottom line owner with no interest in putting out a competitive team.

ESPN The Magazine had an article about most fan friendly sports franchises. It has a bunch of criteria that goes into it. The Bengals were near the bottom of all major sports franchises but ranked near the top as one of the most profitable in all of sports.
