See Ya In Chicago At SportsFest

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Jun 21, 2004 4:45 am

If anyone is going to be at Krause Publications' SportsFest sports collectibles show this weekend in Chicago, look us up at booth #846 near the autograph stage. Tom Kessenich and myself will be manning the National Fantasy Football Championship booth all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. More than 12,000 collectors are expected to attend KP's sixth annual SportsFest, which will be held at the Rosemont Convention Center (Donald E. Stephens Center).

Among the autograph guests on Saturday will be Priest Holmes, Marvin Harrison, Ricky Williams, Trent Green and Corey Dillon. We are going to try to get some Priest Holmes autographed items to give away at our booth, including copies of our August Fantasy Sports Magazine with Priest on the cover. Should be a good time for sure.

Anyway, look us up as we'll be recruiting for our Sept. 4th high stakes event. See ya there.

Can you see if Priest Holmes, Marvin Harrison, Ricky Williams, Trent Green and/or Corey Dillon can send a rep to compete in your Vegas draft? I bet at least one of them (or their friends) are fantasy players. Of course if they win, proceeds would go to charity.

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

It's nice to have celebrity drafters as a promotion, but as you would say Gordon, those guys are "dead money." Instead, we're working on industry "experts" to compete and give all of you a run for your money. If we do return a celebrity again, Meat Loaf promises a better run for the grand prize than he's had in baseball. We'd love to have him back in Las Vegas in September and with any luck with his schedule, we hope he will be joining us.

Just bumping this up as a reminder to the Chicago-area folks that we'll be at Sportsfest Friday-Sunday. Hope to see some folks stop by our booth.
