Top 3 picks in 2006 NFFC?
For the 2006 season, is there a clear #1 overall pick? This year it was pretty much LT2 across the board.(Excluding the Culpepper and Manning picks)
Who would you pick with the top 3 picks and in what order for 2006?
I would go:
1. LT2
2. LJ
3. Alexander (Wish I had him for the playoffs)

Top 3 picks in 2006 NFFC?
As an owner of LT2 in "way too many leagues" I would drop him out of the number 1 spot. I would love to have LJ as a top 3, but not if Priest is still in the picture. Here is my top 3:
1- Alexander
2- LT2
3- Tiki or Edge; LJ if Priest is gone
Pete

Top 3 picks in 2006 NFFC?
(1) Alexander The Great (2) LT (3) Larry Johnson as long as Priest is not back. Tiki close 4th choice. I am sure not too many guys will go with Manning or Culpepper at #1 or #2 like they did this year.

Top 3 picks in 2006 NFFC?
Now that the regular season is over, I'd love to see some more feedback on this one. It seems like the Top 3 are a consensus, although not in a specific order, and then maybe there's a slight dropoff. Any thoughts on where you see the dropoff being this year? Any thoughts on what a Top 3 pick would be in Gordon's BBDS???
A preliminary Fantasy Sports Magazine Top 5 looks like this:
1. Shaun Alexander
2. Larry Johnson
3. LaDainian Tomlinson
4. Edgerrin James
5. Tiki Barber
Tom likes Clinton Portis at 6 (he's fixated on that guy), but who do you see after that? I'm interested.
Let's talk some football. Hell, who do you think goes No. 1 in the NFL draft if Vince Young comes out? Interesting, huh?

Top 3 picks in 2006 NFFC?
I'm fixated on production and Portis delivers.
Just for fun and totally off the top of my head here would be my Top 10 at every position for 2006, excluding rookies and assuming no free agent changes teams:
QBs
1. Carson Palmer
2. Peyton Manning
3. Donovan McNabb
4. Tom Brady
5. Matt Hasselbeck
6. Eli Manning
7. Drew Brees
8. Trent Green
9. Jake Plummer
10. Brett Favre (assuming he returns)
RBs
1. Shaun Alexander
2. Larry Johnson
3. LaDainian Tomlinson
4. Edgerrin James
5. Tiki Barber
6. Clinton Portis
7. LaMont Jordan
8. Rudi Johnson
9. Cadillac Williams
10. Stephen Jackson
WRs
1. Chad Johnson
2. Steve Smith
3. Torry Holt
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Marvin Harrison
6. Anquan Boldin
7. Terrell Owens (could move up depending on where he lands)
8. Darrell Jackson
9. Plaxico Burress
10. Hines Ward

Glenn, I can't put Portis in the Top 4 as long as Alexander and Edge stay put. Just can't do it. But I could move him ahead of Barber only because of Barber's age. Then again, Tiki has been so damn good even a slight decline in production will still have him be a stellar fantasy RB.

Ron Dayne 951
Antonio Chatman 884
Antowain Smith 834
Antowain Smith 821
Tyson Thompson 753

Keary Colbert 716
Antowain Smith 713
Antowain Smith 701
Tyson Thompson 689
in any event, it doesn't matter if it's spent foolishly or not. the point is with BBDS every person has direct input into getting the slot they want.

but alas it won't matter for at least another year and for some reason i think, longer...which is very disappointing (to me). IMO BBDS was a significant way for you to increase your marketshare. obviously, you felt different, which is fine. we all have different business models.
