CreativeSports had an NFFC mock draft last night featuring 12 many of our NFFC participants as well as Greg and myself. It was a fun draft -- mad props to Jason Pliml and the folks at Mock Draft Central.com who hosted the event on their terrific draft site -- and certainly very revealing. Here's the draft in full, so check it out and feel free to comment.

Oh, and feel free to take note at the number of Vikings and Bears that Greg drafted. He was a happy camper last night.

5 out of 18 - looks like Greg is jumping ship. Did you notice his late pick of holdout B.Franks.
Was that an attempt to make himself feel better? Nice job last night.

This is a pretty good model although things change alot when you mix casual players in with die hards.

jeff - i didn't see much that excited me. why would someone show their true valuations in a mock draft (esp against some future opponents)? i wouldn't.

cushard - don't even think about Barlow in the 4th round of the $5,000 draft.

I think you need to teach Gekko a thing or two Dyv, before you invest your money with him!

Besides, how many people REALLY show themselves (or do they?) You were swinging from Steven Jackson's sack all last preseason. It is all a big smokescreen, so you aren't giving ANYTHING away!

My true "diamonds in the rough" shall remain hidden until the real deal.

It's fun to look at what the teams look like, particularly after the first 6 or 7 picks. Most importantly, the banter was flowly quite freely last evening. A good time was had by all (except for that little mishap in the beginning where Dyv showed up 10 minutes late).

With that said, this is my exact draft strategy. Please study and learn it, you or anyone else who may have me in their league.
