Only four Undefeated NFFC Teams Remain

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Oct 26, 2004 5:29 am

Five undefeated teams were beaten this week, leaving the NFFC with only four undefeated teams left in the contest. There will be fewer than that next week as two of the remaining undefeated teams will meet in Chicago League 2 this week.

There are no undefeated teams left in New York. The only league in Chicago that has perfect teams is Chicago League 2, where fantasyjungle.com is 7-0 with 980.6 points and slyguys are also 7-0 with 934.35 points. This is not a top heavy league by any means as 11 teams have 3-4 records or better, with only one team way out of the points race. Fantasyjungle.com and slyguys meet this week in a critical matchup.

There are two unbeaten teams left in Las Vegas. Our overall leader, Team NEW, is 7-0 in Las Vegas League 5 with 1098.95 points, while LB Big Richards leads Las Vegas League 6 with 980.8 points. Interestingly, LB Big Richards has a two game lead in the head-to-head battle, but he is second to Big Mac Attack in total points.

Where did each team draft?
slyguys had the 1st pick in Chicago League 2.
fantasyjungle.com had the 12th pick in Chicago League 2.
Team NEW had the 13th pick in Las Vegas League 5.
LB Big Richards had the 4th pick in Las Vegas League 6.

We're down to four undefeated teams with six regular season games left. Good luck everyone and may the best teams emerge and qualify for the playoffs.

I need to add one more undefeated team to the list as Fandango in the New York Auction League is currently 7-0 and second overall with 957.25 points. Being undefeated doesn't guarantee any prize money in the Auction Leagues, but it does get you a first round bye in the playoffs. Congratulations Fandango and good luck the rest of the way.

Greg, I think you missed Phil Barto and his Vega$ Gambler$. The fellow Leaderboard Sports member is also 7-0 in Chicago #4 according to the overall standings. Hurry before Phil notices :D .

i was one of those teams that lost for the first time this week. and oddly enough. i think it was the week that i had the biggest advantage going into the game when looking at match ups...

crazy game... i am now wondering how i would be doing if i had taken priest holmes with first pick over L. tomlinson...lol
