This guy is DEAD if the Chargers don't have the lead.
He doesn't get 3rd down work, and he is pulled at the goal line.
I would much rather have Tolbert right now going forward.

I'm trying to figure out why the Chargers would go into a game against a defense that was completely obliterated on the ground last week and not build the game plan around Mathews (and Tolbert). I'm completely mystified by that. Even if Mathews was going to be limited you still had Tolbert. No excuse for San Diego not to run 30-35 times last night. None.
Well unless you agree with the belief they're a soft team then it makes plenty of sense.
Oh, third-and-short from the Raiders' 2 and of course they drop back to pass. Again, you're facing a defense that couldn't stop the run at all just four days ago and you have a power back in Tolbert. Smash him between the tackles and see if they can stop it.
