Here Comes The Weather

Post by Tom Kessenich » Thu Dec 10, 2009 5:05 am

If it's December, that means it's time to factor weather into our fantasy football decision making process. Here in Wisconsin, the temperatures have been somewhere around 3,000 below zero (give or take). Tonight in Cleveland, it's expected to be absolutely brutal. Cold, snow and winds gusting to 40 miles per hour.

How are people going to handle things with the weather this week? Any Ben Roethlisberger owners sitting him in what otherwise would be an insanely easy matchup? What about Santonio Holmes owners? Is he still locked into your starting lineups?

What says everyone this week?

What says everyone this week? He is sitting for our Classic Team.

We will be playing our backup QB this week.

I'm still playing Holmes tonight as I really don't have any better options for my NFFC classic team. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey Tom
What do you think of Harrison tonight? Fargas ran well against steelers and wind might ONLY be 25-30 mph making for some short passes. Tough decisions on Ben and Holmes. Other choice is Hightower as a RB 2
Thanks
Marty

I don't think Harrison does all that much. If the weather eliminates the threat of the pass the Steelers will be even stronger against the run - and that's the one thing they still do well defensively.

Mendenhall's the one guy I'd feel completely confident starting tonight. He could get 30 carries and the Browns are obviously awful.
