I know this has a slim chance of occurring but anyway...I would assume that if two teams have the same record for 1st place then you would look at total points for the tiebreaker, but if they were tied in total points then what would be the next tiebreaker? This is not as important if they are tied for 1st, but if they are tied for 2nd its the difference between going for the pot of gold versus going for the peanuts...

I believe I asked this question over the phone and was told head-to-head was the first tiebreaker.

Head-to-head was the first tiebreaker for 1st place. After that total points decides wild card teams.

If that is the case hopefully Greg will add that to the rules because I think many people may think its total points which is the 1st tiebreaker instead...

My fault completely for not adding all tiebreakers in the Rules. I will do that for each league now and break it out for two-team ties, three-way ties and more. The most likely scenario is total points, but let me officially put this in the rules and then post it here. Thanks.

Greg, dont forget about the "fumbles lost" as well because that can be misleading since it just mentions "fumbles" and in some leagues that could just mean that if a player fumbles(but recovers) there still may be a reduction in points or additional points given to a defense.

The first tie break should always be head to head , since you are only playing each team once , it should end there.

Thanks Black Reign. We made the change in the NFFC scoring on Friday, but didn't make the same change in the Auction Leagues and Draft Masters Leagues. That will be done shortly. Now it's official for QBs, "fumbles LOST."

Not necessarily Mike because what if you are playing a team and your two best players are on a bye week and you lose to that team and then wind up tied with that same team even though your team scored 100 more fantasy points than there's over the whole season. That other team would make the playoffs because they caught you at the right time, not because they are actually the better team so I would vote for fantasy points as being the #1 tiebreaker since that should assure that the better team makes the playoffs.

I thought that all head to head owners rather be lucky than good. Ask Diesel...that's why he hates roto baseball....
