Hey all, I'm trying to convince Greg he should run a fantasy hoops contest on Sunday (September 5th) ... sometime in the afternoon. This would be a trial draft - maybe 3 leagues? Toss in $300-600 apiece?
I realize this is early for the NBA season for a fantasy draft - but with that many people already in Vegas, I think it's easy to use that date when people are there for a live draft.
My advice would be to draft a starting roster - depending on rules... maybe go 6-8 rounds. Then have a live online draft a week before the season starts to fill out benches. That online supplemental draft could be very important depending on training camp notes, free agent moves, trades, injuries, etc.
I'd like to see hockey on Sunday as well - but with the very fragile status of the season it wouldn't be safe to do that one!
What do you think - interested in a hoops draft on Sunday late afternoon?
