I guess the drafts done tonight are the first "real" mock drafts so far this year. Did anyone see any surprises?

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

[/QUOTE]This is going to be fun. I just hope the week we play each other that you (to use an over-used term over the past week) BRING IT.

I'm really not thrilled about my #8 pick. I'd rather be at #13, to be honest. Think Greg would let us trade?

My team from tonight sucks:

Drafting in the #11 slot, but of course I decided not to show up until the 2nd round as I thought the draft was at 8pm not 7pm. ;)

QB: Tom Brady, Gus Frerrotte
RB: Clinton Portis, Mike Anderson, LaBrandon Toefield, Ricky Williams, William Green, Ryan Moat
WR: Terrell Owens, Hines Ward, Santana Moss, Travis Taylor, Reggie Brown, Brandon Jones, Darius Watts
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Mike Nugent
D: JAX
The Wonderful thing about Dyv's is I'm the only one!

With 1.07, we took Edgerring James. On the way back (2.08), Domanick Davis fell to us. Davis was taken as a late first round pick in many other drafts -- we just got lucky.

Lesson learned: you never really know how things are going to go until it's your turn to pick.

I assume they picked Clinton Portis for you at #11 (would you have gone with Barlow?). During today's fireside chat with Tom, it was suggested that Portis would not go in the Top 10. Sure enough...

I wonder how fall he would have fallen if not on autodraft.

These are valuable tidbits. Keep them coming!

Of course, whatever you can glean from that is yours to cherish ;)
