Greg,
Could you change the time for pick-ups from 4pm(est). Is it possible to extend it a few hours until 7 or 8 o'clock?
And as for the West Coast owners 1pm is really early.
Please consider

Jason, good call. In all the SNAKE/Waz bickering, I had almost forgotten about this one.
This and the extra playoff spot are two excellent suggestions that would meet negligible resistance.
Are we still waiting for additional feedback? Since not all of the NFFC participants are on these boards now, how about a mass mailing asking for thoughts on these two proposals (and any others that merit serious discussion)...

I'm all for it!
As for all the bickering, I apologize. Snake too is extremely sorry, as he sent me a heartfelt apology via a PM, and said it won't occur again.

I also vote for moving the free agent time up.It's not fair that guys have computers all day long and espn while alot of guys don't have anything. Then by the time we get out of work free agent bidding is all over.It sucks when you find something out and it's to late. And other guys are all over it because they have a computer and time.
I think 8pm would be the most fairest way to go.That would be 8pm for us and 5pm I think for the west coast.

Personally ... it's seems Friday at 5:00 on the east coast seems pushing it for some. Why not just make it 6:00 or 7:00 for them. The argument for wanting to see your FA pickups before you leave work on Friday seemed to go out the door with the 7:00 pm central time move. Why not give everyone plenty of time to get their changes in ... say 10:00 est time?
Personally ... not an issue to me ... but I wouldn't want someone to get messed up because of a work meeting lasting until 5:00 pacific time. IMO

I vote for a later deadline. I've read some posts asking for a later day, but I would be content with Friday evening.
