NFL Overtime

If a game is tied at the end of regulation the game should transition into a 5th quarter the same way it transitions from the 3rd to the 4th. Sudden death would still apply to the '5th' quarter.

The only downside is a loss of urgency when a game is tied.

The upside is allowing the game to continue uninterupted by a random event and complete resetting of the game.

I like that.

I also like the suggestion that OT is determined by the first team to 4 points. This means you score a TD or the other team at least gets a possession.

2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.
