The fifth annual National Fantasy Football Championship will host live drafts for the main event on Saturday, Aug. 30th at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center. These drafts will start promptly at noon CST and consist of five leagues of 14 teams each. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes before-hand as we will start EXACTLY at 1 p.m. There will be one break after round 9 and we’ll finish after the 18th round. Good luck everyone.

Remember that this year we will again have 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 18.

Chicago will feature 70 teams consisting of 5 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Chicago League 2:

CHICAGO LEAGUE 2
1. Joshua Deppe, Waterloo, Wisconsin
2. Erik Duerschmidt, Two Rivers, Wisconsin
3. Ryan Welch, Galesburg, Illinois
4. Brent Grooms, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
5. Tommy Gulledge, Independence, Missouri
6. Tom Spinoso, Madison, Wisconsin
7. Shawn Rybka, Weirton, West Virginia
8. Troy Pasley/Scott Slack, Canton, Illinois
9. Mike Ferre, Peoria, Illinois
10. Jack Haan, Palos Heights, Illinois
11. Colin Laufenberg, Scottsdale, Arizona
12. Rob Benetti, Mokena, Illinois
13. John Buchanan, Lansing, Michigan
14. Keith Carbone, Hawthorn Woods, Illinois

We got what we wanted Rob. Probably the first time in NFFC history that two 100k winners are in the same league.

This was a fun one. I am not doing cartwheels like normal but I think my team can possible copete with the group but then again I think that maybe 13 teams have a real shot. Nice drafting.

This sucked ... although it might be fun beating all the champs in this league, That was never the plan. squeek by everyone and die in the playoffs. It was reallly nice meeting some more good players ... but I don't like this stacked league. That's just me I guess?
