NINTH ROUND
In the 9th we took Adrian Peterson. But Diesel taking Rivers in the 9th as his second pales in comparison to a team in our league taking Cutler in the 9th AND Alex Smith in the 10th...with Drew Brees having been his first qb in the 4th.

3 QB's in 10 rounds, did that person think it was a DC format?

NINTH ROUND
My 9th Rounder was Mushin Muhammed as my 5th WR.
I took Rivers in the 8th round as my #1 and was happy to land him that late.

NINTH ROUND
At 9-12, I took Jesse Chatman - there were NO better running backs available. I had started the draft RB-WR-WR-RB-WR-WR-TE-QB so I was looking for the biggest upside at RB with that pick.
NINTH ROUND
Our league (NY 4) had two ladies drafting(13th), and proceeded to go RB, QB and 7 wideouts in their first nine picks!!
NINTH ROUND
Thanks for all of the input guys/girls...
It's good to see that there were a LOT of different strategies through each draft. I was telling everybody that ADP sheets were only good for toilet paper, because you can't use them for much else. They are good to have to help you along, but I guarantee that most of your ADP lists were scattered after rounds 7 or 8.
I still look through my draft, and with a full starting lineup already in place, I would do it again, the exact same way. I came within 6 picks of having De.Foster or Julius Jones as my #2. Considering I waited until round SEVEN to get my RB 2, I don't think it was all that bad. I wound up with Chester Taylor, and I would have rather had Julius or De.Foster, but it is what it is. My other RB's that I drafted each have a chance of getting some solid RBBC playing time, and that's all I expected with this strategy.
Round 1-Westbrook RB
Round 2-Harrison WR1
Round 3-J.Walker WR2
Round 4-Bulger QB
Round 5-J.Galloway WR3
Round 6-K.Curtis FLEX WR4
Round 7-Ch.Taylor RB
Round 8-O.Daniels TE
Round 9 - P.Rivers QB2 *The STIR
Round 10-A.Thomas RB3
Round 11-D.Rhodes RB4
Round 12-Tony Hunt RB5
Round 13-Craig Davis WR5
Round 14-Neil Rackers K
Round 15-Tab Perry WR6
Round 16-PHILLY DEFENSE
Round 17-Lance Moore WR7
Round 18-Greg Olsen TE2(I know he's banged up...Owen Daniels, my TE1 doesn't have a bye until week 10.)

KOQ is an outstanding player and he passed on him at #5. Gekko said he had Maroney ahead of him, so you can see how sometimes people slip.
As far as Big Ben, I played the "waiting game". Had I NEEDED to take him in the 8th, I would have, but I gambled no one behind me would take him and they didn't.
In your league Snake, what top 5 WR's were available at your pick in the 2nd (just Wayne)and what WR's besides Walker were still available to you when you took him in the 3rd rounder?
Just curious?

Rivers was selected in our league at the end of round 6,as the 9th qb selected overall.
I took Brian Leonard from the 12 hole in round 9.
