Billy: I anticipate needing a clear head on sunday for nfbc faab. I could have a lot riding at that point in the season. Staying out all night saturday and getting bombed won't help matters.

King of queen: I'll be getting a ride from Mr. Best Practices

Ahhhh, good news. Richie Primo has been located!!! He's signing up for the main event in New York again, but he can't swing the $650 auction league yet. He said he's getting back on the boards this weekend, so give him some peer pressure and tell him to get his butt down to New York for the Friday night auction!! But at least the King of Hoagies is alive and well and he's back in the NFFC.

Now, where is Dyv???

We're on a roll for the NFFC this year, but we did get bummer news late last week as our 2005 NFFC champ Josh Ferenc said he will be unable to attend this year's draft because of a work conflict. Josh has been with us since 2004, but unfortunately he just couldn't pull it off this year. Hopefully he will return in 2008.

HMan83 Biography Channel featured MeatLoaf yesterday morning and I taped it. What a great feature as the Man has lived a very productive life. Seeing him being interviewed recently was AWESOME as he talks the same way when having fun at the drafts. He's the most fun during auction leagues as he REALLY enjoys those formats and gets a bit animated in them!! :D We'll miss him this year, but I e-mailed him this morning with the dates for next year's baseball and football events and hopefully after he's done touring Bat out of Hell III and making millions of dollars he will rejoin our competition.

Greg - My hickabilly trio does a killer version of Stranglehold - if Mr Loaf shows up for baseball I'll bring the band! (that's a sure way of getting my better half to agree to 2008 after our NFBC history...)

[/QUOTE]Meat e-mailed me back this morning and said he is setting the draft dates aside for baseball in March. I don't think he can tour in the winter anyway because of health issues, so it's good to know he's planning on baseball already. He just LOVES the baseball auction format, so I trust he's going to be back for the NFBC Trifecta at the very least. And if he can swing it, he will return for football. He won $5,000 and a league title in 2005, so he digs our format. :D
