Lamar Gordon: A VERY Painful Lesson

Post by nnoy » Mon Sep 27, 2004 10:50 am

I'm sure most of you have heard by now that it appears Gordon is gone for the year. My guess is that any team that bid $900+ on him is DONE this point. The $1000 and $990+ teams have NO chance for sure.

(Sure the sucker that paid a cool $770 for Blaylock should not be popping off here, but I also got R. Lee for $155 and saved $75 for a worst case situation such as this.)

Any thoughts on the fate of the Gordon teams?

Thoughts? Sure. Those teams were already screwed if they were counting on Gordon.

I didn't hear that he was out for the year (only out for this week). You must have better sources than me. I have no idea why people bid $990+ on this guy anyways...maybe someone will now bid $990 on Leonard Henry!!

The team in NY Auction League bid $983 on Gordon...They needed 1 point to win last night. Gordon got 1 point, and they won by .1 <<---. Really. WOW.
