....... I would think we would all agree that the draft is the very , very , best part of fantasy sports. Therefore, what if we created a league where you draft your team every week..??? Obviously we would have to shorten the roster and adjust the stats, I was thinking, 1 Qb, 1 Rb, 3 Wr, 1 Pk.... That's 6 Picks or a ( Six-Pack ), with 14 teams that would make 84 picks every Friday Night. I'm thinking with a good knowledgeable crew that draft should take 60 minutes Tops. It would be like having a weekly night poker game, except it would be a weekly night Fantasy game. Every week you get a shot a LT, Peyton and Marvin. Anyway, I thought I would put it out there, and see if this Turkey Flys or Fries. What say ye all...??? ( PS ) Especially Greg and Tom, since you guys have to set this up, Happy Holidays Guys

1 question....

Would there be $$$ involved, or just bragging rights?

Also, I doubt that Greg and Tom would want to do this NOW, but it might be something for NEXT year.

Not a bad idea, but it certainly isn't up to me.

Interesting ... here's some suggestions

1QB 1RB 2WR/TE 1K 1FLEX(RB/WR/TE) ... still 6 picks

If you have 16 teams, everyone would get to draft in every spot once.

Hey Ted, are you out there..?? Could really use your expertise, on adjusting the stats with this short roster. Some scoring system that really balances out. So that a someone picking 1 and 32 dose not Dominate or get Demolished by a guy drafting 16 and 17. Is that plausible...???

TCH, As far as stats, I'm not positive what adjustments we have to make, but I'm thinking 16 teams with 6-man rosters, were going to have to make some. I want to try and come up with something that can give us a pool of 100 players... ( qb,rb,wr )to where they all come out pretty even. I don't know how feasible this is, but something where the top 33 ( qb, rb,wr, ) all average between 15 and 20 pts a week, in other words , I don't want to have Rbs getting 25, qbs, 20 and wr 15...dose this make sense..?? and TCH thanks for the help as usual

D-Day

Like the idea. Don't understand why "player type" scoring needs manipulation as everyone starts the same type of roster. Drafts will be more about weekly matchups than "player type" points anyway.

I do this with a few buddies each week in a $20 each a week challenge - $10/for the week and $10/towards EOY total. A little wrinkel is that you can only have a player maximum of 3 times/season. It's very fun - but sometimes tough to coordinate. Getting 16 guys at same-time same-place each week will be interesting - but count me in that sat-o-lite next year!!!
