This is exactly why the current system in the NFFC is ideal. It rewards BOTH formats.

Ugly,
What did I "make up?" Who said there were no fantasy events without H2H? A crap shoot implies it is totally random. Fantasy football is a WEIGHTED crap shoot... one where the better teams have the better chance. Do you think your chance at winning the NBC event is equal to everyone else? Meaning you have/had a 1 in 250 (or however many entries there are) chance?
I surely do not think so. I am willing to say you have/had a much better chance based on your skill level being superior to many other players. Yes, luck is involved... no, luck is not the primary determining factor to who succeeds and fails over the long run in these events.
I am not in the DC event because I like the challenge of team management during the season. I also do not have unlimited funds to be in tons of events. However, I may dive into the DC pool next year. We shall see.

GG, Whats the problem. It clearly states in the RULES that h2h is part of the$$$$$$...It allows people that are struggling in points still having a chance to stay active and a shot to $$$.I personally started 0-5, in the NBC league, but 20 pts out of the playoffs....This is my 4th year in the NFFC and if I didnt learn from past years I would have given up.Currently Mr. GECKO I'm 25th in the Main Event,56th in the NBC, and 15th in the overall..So if I don't have MY facts STRAIGHT and dont sound INTELLIGENT,I don't APPOLIGIZE.

You also know without a H2H component, you can't have a large number of entries. My point is the 100K is connected to the H2H format.

Skill is involved to get into the playoffs.
