A few questions for you guys...
1-Since this is a slow draft, does one team bring out one player each day in some order, or does EVERYONE bring out one guy each day? Since we have some time to kill before the draft, hopefully we can have some things answered for "newbies" like myself to the slow auction format. thanks...
2-I see on the site page that the draft starts in 13 days...Is that when it is, or is it just set for then by default?
3-Any updates on payments for the league? I go back to work in two weeks and in that time I need everything ironed out here. Once I go back to work, I may go back to working crazy hours and won't have much time for the boards...

No update on the payment yet. I'm still hoping Tom and Greg will collect and hold the monies.
Each player will bring up one nomination per day. If the fail to do so then there will have to be some kind of penalty.
The auction starts May 7th.

Wayne- how many rounds is this? Still DC format with no weekly updates to lineups? no head-to-head play, correct?

I'll try to summarize the rules here.
*This is a DC Auction where the best possible lineup is determined each week after all of the games are finished.
*26 player rosters
*$208 budget
* You MUST nominate one player per day.
*The last 4 days you can nominate as many players as you like up to the number of available roster spots.
*You can never have the high bid on more players than you have roster spots
*The player will go to the high bidder once the bid has not been raised for 24 consecutive hours.
*No waiver wire, trades, or lineups
*Winner will win everything except $125 to second and the costs of running the league. The MFL site was $70 and if we use the NFFC to run the league and collect the prizes then that will come out of the prize pool also.
I believe that should cover most everything. I hope that everyone has visited the site and tested it one their computers.

doing that auction yesterday really has me pumped for this one..
we settle on someone to hold the $$? and an exact starting date? Remember, we need everyone paid before we start so we don't have a repeat of last year....

is using ESPN by these ffball contests frowned upon? We used them for an NFFC auction last summer and the software was outstanding. superb even.

The MFL site is the only one I've seen that accomodates an auction lasting over a long period of time.
