NY vs Chicago Grudge Match Update

This is just a BUMP to get back to the original NY / Chicago thread. Maybe we can get this up to triple digit pages by the next draft.

Again, here is the Final order for September's draft. Grudge Match II...

1-Ken Magner (ny)
2-Don Thompson (chic)
3-Mike Ferre (chic)
4-Johnny Frisella (ny)
5-Steven Jupinka (ny)
6-Joe Steger (chic)
7-Mike Welp (chic)
8-Glenn Schroter (ny)
9-Marc Quitsch (ny)
10-Rich Hart (chic)
11-Jeff Clampitt (chic)
12-Michael Davis (ny)
13-Eddie Gillis (ny)
14- Billy "the king of double digits" Waz (chic)

Ken jumps in and gets the #1 spot. BWAZZ drops back down to his familiar #14 spot. You gotta love it. Me, I'm thinking Lou's as I've been on a 4-week diet and have dropped 15 pounds down to 195. Should be at 175 and ready for double pepperoni by draft day.

#5 looks like a tough spot. The safe bet is Tiki, - S.Jackson, Portis, L.Jordan, are to be considered. It's prob better to have #8 in this case that way you'll have a chance at a decent #2 rb on the way back. #5 though will get you one of the top 5 WR and possibly gates in 3. Key is nailing that top RB.

At # 9, I feel I'm almost forced to go RB, RB. We'll see.

At #14, I am giving serious consideration to Neil Rackers and Chicago's D.

Can you imagine the advantage I will have on everyone at kicker AND Defense??

As far as Gates, in the 3rd, I bet I can predict within 2 spots where he is going to go! ;)

It is a tough call, but that is what makes this fun! :D

Since #5's dont seem to have much success historically, for the 1st time it's possible Peyton drops there - and he may be the pick ! Then pull up w/R.Wayne in the 3rd. Tamu, where we at with days left ???

I didn't go RB/RB last year but I may have to this year as 10 is that little bit more of a stretch coming back up for round 3. Should make for interesting conversation as the draft, trades, retirements, and FA unfold over the coming months. Each year there are more and more questions especially this year with all of the new head coaches and coordinators.
