JUNE 25th DRAFT CHAMPS ROSTERS

Post by RiFF » Sun Jun 25, 2006 3:28 pm

GG...it appeared that a blast from the past(NYJ WR) may have been selected by one of the adversaries. It is also possible that the player in question is the son, grandson or namesake of the alluded to player and the draftor is ahead of the curve.(or the player himself coming out of hibernation) I just have/had not heard of this player recently, which doesn't necessarily mean he isn't a "deep sleeper". If he shows up on the radar(from retirement or otherwise), and performs, I commend the draftor in question for his foresight and depth of knowledge.. :D :D Otherwise, as I said earlier, The Old-Timers strategy mystified me.

but if Droughns goes for 1500 YDS/12 TDs, you'll look like a genius and we'll all be eating crow.King, if I thought Rueben was gonna' go for 1200 and 2, I would have gone another route. Truly feel a Rudi J-type season, with a lot more receiving pts., coming from him. 1475rsh yds/40recs/425rec yds/12tds at least. The fact of the matter is, from the 14th slot, Rudi wasn't gonna' happen, and sorry if I didn't go the C.J., Cadillac, or Fitzgerald route. I take the players I feel are going to have big years this year.....not the players that everyone now knows had a big year last year. Doesn't ever get me any love from my draftmates on draft day, but it's funny how by about week 16 of every season, I'm not hearing too much of that "You took who?!? When?!?," s**t. By the way.....Jeff is the only one who foiled any of my plans, namely with his 1st and 3rd selections. That's fine, his backs don't scare me anyway!

Can you honestly tell me you'd be happy walking away from any draft with that roster? That's what I thought!

Aieee Gout, you were 2 picks ahead of me on both your 1st and 3rd rounder. I was thinking you had a MDC spycam on me! But that's fine, when all is said and done, those two will not be able save you from the pain.

Mekko, I think you're just upset because my 4th RB is gonna' gobble up all the points of your 2nd RB. But hey, don't worry.....everyone else thinks you have a great squad, and that's all that really matters right? Right?!?
