It has truly been a dream season for this team.

Time to give some credit where it is due: He is rarely mentioned, but I drafted this year with my friend Kurt Awe and he deserves a lot of credit and drafted a killer team that is doing great in the consolation...it was oh so close to making the championship round. Thanks also to Eric Balkman for his constant input on lineup decisions. Thanks to Alex, aka Nag' and Lou aka 3intboy. Thanks to Baker Boy for his help and friendship. Thanks to all of the fantasy football friends I have made over the years...it is what makes this hobby so great....they are much more important than the money...(that may be a lie, or maybe not - not sure, $100K is a lot of dough. )

Thanks to Greg, Tom and everyone at the NFFC. I appreciate it.

I love these players:

Phillip Rivers - thanks for the 38 points this week when I really needed it.

Kurt Warner - great all year and another NFL good guy.

Steven Jackson - OK, actually you suck. You have no explosiveness and were a complete pile of crap all year.

Ernest Graham and Warrick Dunn - good when needed and helped in the early part of the year

Brandon Marshall - also thanks to Cutler for 20 targets a game

Dwayne Bowe - consistent all year

Steve Smith - my favorite NFL player - you are the ICON

Isaac Bruce - glad to have started you this week for your 1000th catch

Tony Gonzalez - 100% class and I love this guy

Uber special thanks go to:

DeAngelo Williams - WOW - just wow.

Dave, time to call ol' Mike Woods and get a photo shoot for our beloved fish-wrap in Appleton!!! :D I think this deserves some local coverage and both of us should work on it. It's a feel-good story in the area. Time to give you some air time in northeastern Wisconsin.

Now just imagine who we'd be calling if you had won the $1 million bonus!!! :D ESPN baby!!! :D Nice run, though, and I won't say congrats just yet because it's not official, but congrats. ;)

Dave,

That is incredible! Will this be a record for the largest margin of victory in a championship round? Very nice!

Dave,

I am not sure you should be celebrating yet. If I can get 198 points from Matt Forte and Greg Olsen tonight I can run you down.

Kidding aside... congrats! An amazing season and dominant run in the post season. It must be nice when it all comes together. Enjoy having your name added to the list who have reached the ultimate fantasy football promised land.

Dave is the man. For those who don't know, Dave finished 5th and 7th Overall in the 2002 and 2003 WCOFF Championship Rounds so to finally see him take down a major high stakes contest is no surprise to those who know him. Don't be surprised to see him in this position again in the near future. Congratulations Dave -- well deserved!!
