Okay, we are processing the year-end checks for all of the NFFC leagues this week and our goal is to get them in the mail this week yet. I know a lot of folks are emailing me and asking about the status of their year-end checks, so I know how important this is to everyone. We are working hard to get everyone's check out soon. I'll know more shortly, but hopefully you'll have your prizes in hand in another week or so. Congrats to all of the winners.

The season-ending checks were sent out yesterday, Jan. 16th, so look for those checks soon. We are still working on the split prizes checks and holding any checks where the W9s aren't on file. I'll get that list of owners and contact each of you individually to get those forms completed. Also, when it comes to the biggest checks we need one additional approval step, so those will go out shortly. Don't panic just yet, those BIG checks are on the way soon!!

CONGRATS EVERYONE!! We're happy to award $2 million in winnings to all of you great players. Enjoy...and then set some aside for 2013. We'll begin taking signups soon enough.

I think legally they must be out by Jan. 31st, so yes.

1099's must be post-marked by 1/31, so you may not get it until after 1/31. And they are only required if you won $600 or more.

Plus, you should only see a 1099 for money "received" in 2012. The checks we got in December and a year ago January should be on the 1099 you see this Jan/Feb. Any money paid yesterday should be on the 1099 you see in Jan/Feb 2014 as "2013 winnings". I know that seem odd, but the payment date determines the year you recognize the winnings.
