Plans For 4th Annual NFFC 12-Team Diamond League

Since we filled two Diamond Leagues in baseball this year on separate draft dates, we have had some inquiries from our die-hard customers about possibly doing that for football this year. I would certainly find the time and space for a second Diamond League if the interest is there. I'm not sure what date works best, but maybe a Saturday night draft in a private suite at the Bellagio would work best. We are trying to extend the drafting weekend this year and maybe some private high-dollar leagues to end the weekend makes the most sense.

Just something to consider. I know Peter would do two and I have a feeling a few other owners would, too. Let me know if you're interested in something like that, possibly Saturday night. Thanks all.

Okay, we officially have 6 of 12 owners returning for 2013. And even better yet, it looks like we have serious interest in a second Diamond League on another day during that Second Weekend in Las Vegas. I'll look at some possible draft dates and post them here soon. Good stuff. This is a great start to our 10th anniversary season. Thanks all.

I'm digging it. We can all decide the best possible time, but with everyone's busy schedule I really think a Saturday late afternoon draft makes the most sense. Heck, even WCOFF used to offer those and fill up it's highest dollar league at that time. Friday morning and Saturday late afternoon Diamonds?? What do you think?

Agreed. I like this idea a lot. Maybe make it a "closing party" or something along those lines.
