Nicks was slowed by his injury last year. When he is right the sky is the limit. Nicks has size speed and all the tools. I think Cruz benefits from Nicks. Nicks going lower in drafts, he could be a real bargain. I dont see Cruz as a true number one Receiver.

so what do you guys think so far?
Not bad at all. Its going to come down to MJD getting healthy and of course Cruz to sign. If Pead wins the starting job then chances are very nice. I love Garcon this year. He might be close to a top ten performer at WR. Nicks could be a value for a 4th rounder.
I agree a lot hinges on MJD. But for the DC format, I like your WRs - a lot of boom/bust types that are hard to start consistently in non-DCs, but can have some big weeks (i.e. Garcon, DeSean, Gordon). Good luck.

How does Vincent Jackson last till the 5th round???? And whats the sudden love for Shane Vereen?? Head scratchers. Just cuz Woodhead is gone? Seems like there would be better value than Vereen in the 6th round. 2 or 3 rounds early for my taste. I guess maybe he wins job away from Ridley.

That's some damn good WR talent available in the 5th and 6th rounds. Such a deep position. As much as I'd love to land a potential stud in the second round there's definitely a case to be made for laying off WR in the opening two rounds and looking to address it later.

I guess we will just have to wait and see on Vereen.

Who do you think has better value than Vereen at RB at that point?

I took Vereen at 7.3 in one of the other early drafts. I thnk it's sort of a leap of faith that could pay off. no woodhead + Ridley not good in the passing game + the Pats' offense will move the ball extremely well + the other rbs on the roster aren't good (hopefully they don't spend an earlyish pick on a rb in the draft) = he's got upside.

That's great at 7.3, but the RB's were flying off the board. Only ones left were Green Ellis and Ballard. Even Lacy and Stewart had gone. Players have realized the deep value in WRs and have held off. RB's are going fast. Even QB and TE are being passed up. Much different than the last few years.
