NFFC Names 7 Owners To Hall Of Fame
A reminder that Greg and I will announce the inaugural Hall of Fame Class for the NFFC TONIGHT on our STATS Fantasy Advantage show on Sirius Radio. As Greg said in a previous post this was a difficult decision to come up with this year's class since there were so many deserving candidates. But our goal for this first year was to reward the players who have done the best with us for the longest amount of time.
We certainly anticipate doing this on an annual basis given the number of deserving candidates already in place (plus the new ones sure to arise as well). But tonight will be a special night for us as we not only celebrate our history as the industry's longest-running high stakes contest but also prominently reward the players who have earned the right to be Hall of Famers.
So tune in TONIGHT for the STATS Fantasy Advantage from 10 pm ET to Midnight on Sirius Channel 210/XM87.

Re: 2014 NFFC Hall Of Fame Class Announcement TONIGHT
I am very excited to be announcing our inaugural NFFC Hall of Fame class. We held off 10 years before doing this and as a result we have soooooooooo many worthy candidates now. We listened to your feedback on the initial list of nominees and then Tom and I did some more research and we feel like we have a very representative list. This first class really represents those owners who have competed with us for 8-10 years and won consistently and in different formats. We made one exception to the number of years played basis in this inaugural HOF class and in future years we'll induct anyone with 5 or more years in the NFFC.
But this is a special, special class and after we announce it tonight on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio and then later on our Message Boards we'll figure out where the party is going to be for these folks!!! We want to honor each of them live at one of our events if possible and we'll obviously have a special party on Thursday, Sept. 4th in Las Vegas at the NFL Viewing Party. We can raise a shot glass there to the new inductees!!
We feel we have a very representative list and we hope you agree. We know we could have honored a dozen or more owners because there are so many deserving players. But we've started out with a handful of owners and we'll add each year to the list. We've probably been too slow to add new members in baseball, but going forward in both sports we are going to honor more and more deserving owners each year. We are the longest running high-stakes contest in both sports and nobody has the rich history of multiple formats for national contests like we do. It's time to really honor those owners who have excelled over a long period of time and introduce these stars to the rest of the industry. That's what we're going to do tonight.
We hope you join us for the announcement and the celebration. This really is a great, great list of owners. And going forward, this is now incentive for other successful owners to win a few more titles to get into the NFFC Hall of Fame. It's really a nice honor for all the hard work you've done and we think it's going to bring recognition to the best fantasy owners in the country. Congrats all and good luck going forward.

Re: 2014 NFFC Hall Of Fame Class
Here is the 2014 NFFC Hall of Fame Class. Congratulations to everyone.
JULES MCLEAN
Jules has been with the NFFC for 9 years, having joined our competition in 2005 and during that time she is the only person to win 5 Classic League titles, which means she’s won 5 of 9 14-team league titles. The Classic is our toughest competition and Jules is the only person to ever win 5 league titles. She’s batting .555 in a contest where your odds of winning a league title are 7%. She’s 48th on our Career Money Earnings list with $39,000, but one of these days she’s going to win an overall title. She’s an assistant to Hollywood film director Quentin Tarantino, she’s also recognized as the best female fantasy player in the industry, she’s also the owner of the web site fantasyfreakinfootball.com and she’s now an NFFC Hall of Famer.
CHAD SCHROEDER
Chad is the only one on this list who has been competing with us for 5 years or less, but he truly is so good that he deserves this honor in such a short time. He’s recognized throughtout the industry as one of the very best fantasy football players around and that includes season long and daily games. Chad has won 4 Primetime titles with us and he won the 2010 Primetime overall title in 2010 when that grand prize was $50,000. He’s first on the all-time Career Money List with $390,750 in five seasons and 15th in the NFBC Career Earnings List with $118,750. having also won . He finished 4th overall in the Classic last year and 2nd overall in the Online Championship. He’s also won 2 Diamond League titles, an Ultimate League title in 2013, a Super League title in 2011 and he had three teams in our Top 7 overall in the Online Championship last year. .
CHRIS VACCARO
Chris has been with us since 2004 as well and is third on the Career Monday List with $202,850 in winnings. He’s won 3 Primetime league titles and he was our overall champion and $100,000 winner in 2012. He then came back and led the Primetime regular season points race last year before finishing 10th overall. Chris also finished 4th overall in the Primetime in 2010 and has won Super League titles in 2010 and 2012.
TOM YATES
Tom is a Steelers’ die-hard who always wears Steelers uniforms to the live drafts. Lately he’s been wearing those gaudy throwback jerseys and he looks like a large bumble bee. But he’s one of the funniest guys in our industry and one of the very best players as well. He’s 5th on the Career Money Winners List with $137,400 and since joining us in 2006 he’s won 3 Primetime League titles, 2 Classic League titles and our $100,000 grand prize in 2008 as the Classic overall champion.
DEREK ANDERSON/KYLE POPE
Derek & Kyle have been with us since 2004 and have won multiple league titles in multiple formats. We definitely wanted to honor those owners who have proven they can win in any format and Lumpy and Kyle are among the best in that regard. They have won 4 14-team Draft Champions League titles, 3 Classic league titles and 2 Primetime league titles. They rank 29th on all-time money list at $75,900 after finishing 4th overall in the 2008 Primetime and 7th overall in the 2005 Classic, but more importantly they’ve won in 12-team, 14-team and in DC formats. They’ve done it all.
MICHAEL EDELMAN
Michael has been an NFFC and NFBC member since 2004 and he ranks as one of the very best in football and baseball. In the last 10 years, he has won 3 Primetime league titles, 2 Classic league titles and 3 14-team Auction league titles, while finishing 3rd overall in the 2006 Classic. He ranks 34th on all-time money list with $66,650. But like Derek and Kyle before him, Michael has proven that he can win in any league format and he’s among the very best at 12-team, 14-team and auction formats.
BILLY WASOSKY
Billy is another 10-year Charter Member of the NFFC. Billy has won 2 Classic league titles since 2004, 1 Primetime league title, 3 Draft Champions titles in a special private league we run each year and a Super League title in 2010. He finished 3rd in the Classic overall race last year and is recognized in the industry as one of the toughest players in any format. Billy is 30th on the all-time money list with $71,850. He’s definitely one of the best and a member of our NFFC Hall of Fame.

Greg, Tom, I think you have done an excellent job with your choices for the inaugural NFFC Hall of Fame class. Each of those chosen are among the truly elite who play within our High Stakes community and have set a standard that the rest of those among us strive to achieve.
In addition, I've been lucky enough to meet and/or get to know most of this inaugural class, and class is a word that fits each and every one of them. They are not only great players, but just as great as people and competitors as well. They will represent you well.
Congrats guys (and gal), well deserved.
