Clark Olson Wins 2016 Primetime & $150,000

In the closest race ever for an NFFC national championship, Clark Olson edged John Rozek by 0.47 points to win the 2016 NFFC Primetime and the $150,000 grand prize. However, this is unofficial because Elias has until Thursday at 6 pm ET to post any scoring changes. This race is so close that a change of a reception could change the outcome of this race. Wow, amazing.

Clark and John each had Eric Ebron on Monday night as they trailed Joe Conte by 6.0 and 6.47 points. They both vaulted past Joe Conte for 1st and 2nd place once Eric Ebron posted 17.3 points. Second place is worth $25,000. Brett LaBar got 11.3 points from Jason Witten to finish 3rd ($10,000) and Conte finished 4th ($7,500).

Clark drafted in Las Vegas on the Second Weekend, but his winning team came from the Primetime Online on Sept. 6th at 9 pm ET. He finished 3rd in that league as he drafted from the 5th spot. He entered the Championship Round 69th out of 133 teams with a 145.60 scoring average. He had one other Primetime team in the Championship Round that was 30 spots higher than that. But his Flying Spaghetti Monsters team got hot at the right time, scoring 161.20 points in Week 14 (10th best), 170.10 points in Week 15 (6th best) and 199.50 points in Week 16 (6th best). He got a lot of great performances in Week 16, but Adam Thielen's 44.6 point day will always be remembered as the one that did it.

Now let's wait for Elias to finalize the scoring before declaring this one final. Great job everyone.
