NFFC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest Starts Week 1
We are happy to announce that we will once again be hosting in-season weekly contests this year. We will launch them in Week 1 and continue them for NFFC owners through Week 16.
We hosted these in the past with the help of Fanduel, but we are happy to have our own DFS site this year. All of these NFFC weekly contests will be hosted on the Fanball.com site. Rules, scoring and more will be available in mid-August. Should be a fun season as we have a lot of unique ways to play in-season games at Fanball that includes a new bidding contest, daily drafts, salary cap games and this new NFFC contest.
Our NFFC/Fanball Weekly Contest will consist of 50 teams at $50 per team. We will allow a max of three teams per owner and limit each contest to 50 teams. If we sell out one contest early in the week, we will open for a second league. All of these contests will include Sunday-only players and will use a salary cap to form rosters.
Now the one unique twist to this contest is that we will pay the Top 3 finishers each week, but the top team from each league every week will earn a spot in our Week 17 Championship Round. All of the weekly winners will compete in Week 17 for the chance to win a free NFFC Super League team, plus two tickets to the NFFC in Las Vegas in 2019 and two night's stay at our host hotel. This will give everyone a little extra incentive to win each week and compete against the NFFC's best for some really cool prizes.
The Week 1 signup list will become available in mid-August, but I wanted to get this out there sooner so that everyone can plan accordingly and save a little money for some in-season fun. Here are the details for our in-season contest:
NFFC/Fanball Weekly Contest
Maximum of 50 Teams at $50 per team
Start date: NFL week 1, continues each week through Week 16
Each week we will provide a contest of 50 spots at $50 each and provide weekly prizes to the Top 3 finishers. They include:
1st – 2019 NFFC Classic or Primetime entry ($1600 value)
2nd – 2019 Rotowire Online Championship entry ($350 value)
3rd – 2019 Cutline/Draft Champions entry ($150 value)
The winner of each individual weekly contest then gets a free entry into the Championship Round of Week 17. We will have 16 or more winners competing in Week 17 for the ultimate prize of:
1 free entry into a 2019 NFFC Super ($2500 value)
2 roundtrip tickets to the NFFC Live Events in Las Vegas in 2019
2 nights stay at our host hotel (likely the Bellagio) in 2019
2 entries into our NFFC VIP party on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the host hotel (food, drink and top guest speaker included)
This should be a lot of fun. We look forward to hosting these weekly contests on our own site. Look for scoring, roster spots and more info on the Fanball contest next month and be ready to win. You could secure your 2019 entries and a whole lot more with a $50 purchase. Can't wait.

Re: NFFC/Fanball Weekly Contests Return In 2018
I know everyone is concentrating on their season-long drafts right now and I certainly don't want to take your attention away from that. Keep drafting winning NFFC teams and win BIG MONEY.
But I also want to let folks know that in the next 10 days we should have a nice perk for NFFC owners to play some in-season games with us as well. Our Fanball.com site will offer DFS products this year that include GPPs, 50-50s, Head-to-Head and a new auction game. We'll do our best to give you a reason to check them out this season.
We'll also use Fanball.com to host our in-season NFFC $50 50-Team Sunday slate contests. As you can see above, we are limiting these to 50 teams per week at $50 each and we'll provide the winning team with a free 2019 NFFC Primetime or Classic entry and the runner-up team with a free 2019 Rotowire Online Championship entry. The weekly winners will also qualify for a Week 16 tournament that provides the winner with a free 2019 Super entry and a trip to our live drafts in Las Vegas in 2019. So we've taken this contest to another level with an overall contest feel.
We announced the details earlier this summer, but we didn't get to the scoring rules on Fanball.com before now. Below is their new DFS scoring system that we will use for this NFFC/Fanball $50/50 team contest. Check it out and we'll let you know when this is added to the NFFC Registration page. We'll host our first contest in Week 1 with the Sunday slate and can talk about this with anyone at our live New York and Las Vegas events. Plan accordingly and enjoy.
Here's the details of scoring, roster size, etc. for 2018 on Fanball.com:
Rules
In Fanball salary cap contests, entrants create a lineup by using players listed in the Player Pool to fill each defined roster requirement. All players have an assigned salary, and a valid roster will not have a salary cap that exceeds $55,000. In addition, the Player Pool will consist of all players expected to be on the active rosters for any team listed in the contest's event set.
Contest results will be determined by the total points accumulated by each individual lineup entry based on the scoring system detailed below.
Participants in each contest must adhere to Fanball's Master Terms of Service. Failure to comply with said terms will result in disqualification and, if applicable, prize forfeiture.

And remember, the first $20 is on us if you use this bonus in Week 1. Enjoy all and thanks.

Re: NFFC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest Starts Week 1
I searched everywhere for the top 3 weekly prize payout for this contest as it appears nowhere in any of Greg's posts & finally I had to read through the official rules to find it, and once I found the hidden red ball, much to my amusement, the "official" rules show the prize payouts as follows:
1st: $50 (plus the Week 17 lottery ticket & allure of greener pastures, I mean, future free entries)
2nd: $350
3rd: $150
Is that 1st place prize a typo, a joke or require selling of any amway products or herbal supplements ? Please advise.

The First Place prize is a FREE NFFC 2019 Primetime or Classic entry ($1,600 value) plus $50. The system is set up to include a monetary prize on top of the free entry, so that's how it's displaying. So you can turn $50 into a $1650 prize. Hope that helps.COZ wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 11:18 amI searched everywhere for the top 3 weekly prize payout for this contest as it appears nowhere in any of Greg's posts & finally I had to read through the official rules to find it, and once I found the hidden red ball, much to my amusement, the "official" rules show the prize payouts as follows:

NOW ONLY 22 SPOTS LEFT in this Week 1 NFFC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Sunday contest. Someone here could turn $50 into a $1650 prize. Good luck all and enjoy our first FREE entry into the 2019 NFFC season.
Just a reminder for those owners who are drafting live this weekend in Las Vegas to secure your spots in this contest before you fly out. You can always set your lineups after you've registered from your home state. Secure the team now and still set your lineup later in the week in Las Vegas. Thanks.
Okay, let's do this and start the 2019 Signup List with your name on it!! Good luck all.
