We are working with the V Foundation and the WWE to promote this great cause. Thanks to actor James Roday Rodriguez, we have recruited five super-heroes who are going to donate all the prize money they win to Conner's Cure, the pediatric cancer research arm of the V Foundation. James will even donate $1,000 to Conner's Cure for every team that finishes ahead of him in his Primetime league standings.
Let me just say that James has donated a LOT of money that way, but this year he's going ALL IN to win the $250,000 grand prize. He will be joined by WWE champion and legend Mike "The Miz", industry insider Michael Fabiano of Sports Illustrated, Jerry Cantrell of Alice & Chains and actor Tom Everett Scott. Fabs won his Primetime league title in 2021 and donated that $7,000 prize to the V Foundation.
We are happy to welcome Jerry Cantrell and Tom Everett Scott (from the movie That Thing You Do, among other credits) to the NFFC Primetime for the first time. Jerry competes in a couple of leagues with Fabs and Tom is a veteran player who James knows very well.
We don't have the NFFC Primetime Sack Cancer League dates just yet, but we'll work on them soon. We ask that if you join these leagues that you make a small donation (any denomination will do) to the Sack Cancer fund. And if you happen to beat up on our celebrities in these leagues, maybe you can make an even bigger donation from those league winnings. Thanks because every bit helps.
Here's the link to our Primetime Sack Cancer Leagues and we will update the Donate link shortly and update the draft dates once we have them. I just wanted to get this information out there now because the guys are working on promotional videos and we'll start promoting these leagues shortly. It's all for a good cause and yet this is part of the NFFC Primetime overall competition as well.
