NFFC Site Fully Live For 2024

Post by Tom Kessenich » Thu Feb 15, 2024 11:03 am

We are happy to announce the NFFC site is now officially LIVE for the 2024 season. Registration is available for all contests with TBD options available if specific draft dates are not already listed. We will be adding dates and times for all contests throughout the day today so hang in there as we keep adding more and more draft days to the site in the upcoming days.

Slow drafts are going on as we speak and the first LIVE draft of the season is scheduled for April 27 at 10 pm ET with a RotoWire Online Championship draft set for immediately after the conclusion of the NFL draft.

Thanks to everyone for helping us make YEAR 21 our biggest and best ever.

Just a heads up that we have NOT changed anything with the Live Events Schedule in Las Vegas for Friday, September 6th even though we know that the NFL has scheduled a Week 1 game that day in Brazil. At this time, we don't know the start time of that game and thus have decided to move forward with the current schedule until we know more.

I understand that we don't host any live events in Las Vegas during the Thursday Night Game on September 5th and in fact we will have a Thursday Night Viewing Party again in the Park MGM sportsbook. We will host drafts again after that game starting at 9 pm PT.

However, to not host any Friday night live events so that everyone can watch one game doesn't make sense. We had 22 live events last year on Friday and that included 11 different live events at 4 pm and 7 pm PT. If the NFL hosts the game at 5:20 pm PT like it does the Thursday Night Game, we could have most of the 4 pm Primetimes and drafts done close to kickoff. Auctions would be different, but almost everyone would have access to those game results. It's possible that we could look into moving some of the 7 pm PT drafts back a little, but at this point we'll keep the schedule as is.

I know it might affect some people's participation in these later events, but we are all coming to Las Vegas to draft our teams for the entire season and it just doesn't make sense to not host 5-11 live events so that we can all watch 1 NFL game. I think the show must go on and the results from this one game can be followed in the draft rooms by everyone who's participating in those live events.

Hope that works for everyone as we hope to host as many -- if not more -- live events on that Friday this year at Park MGM. See you there.
