If you are still looking for correct data, the info under the team owner, Scott Gunaca is wrong based on your scoring system. We won our leagues in 2004 and 2005, and finished in the top 8 overall in 2005. Based on your scoring info that should be 40 points, not 20.

5th overall = 8 pts
1st in 05 = 8 pts
2nd in 04 = 4 pts
total = 20

you telling me you won in 04 rather than finished second (if you did that would be 24 pts, not 40) ?

.. here is the winner according to Tom's post from Dec 2004:

Chicago League 2
1. Gary Winner, Highland Park, IL (sly guys)
2. Scott Gunaca, Romulus, MI (fantasyjungle.com)
KJ, you are correct, I thought we won both years. But what I was referring to, was this:

Win $5000+ lge (16)
Cash $5000+ lge (8)
Win $1000+ lge (8)
Cash $1000+ lge (4)
Win $500+ lge (4)
Cash $500+ lge (2)
Win any lge (2)
Cash any lge (1)

So a 16 (1st in league) +8 (2nd in league) + 8 (top 5 overall)= 32.

Is that correct or is it not 16 for a 1st?
David, an Ultimate ($5000+ entry lge) is worth 16/8 pts, a main event ($1000+ lge) is worth 8/4 pts.
duke - don't mind woody, he's a little slow on the uptake

Well if thats the case as far as going for lifetime achievement vs. consistency, then that makes sense. Also, when we get to 5 and 6 years and longer, the rankings will become more accurate.

Anyways, I wasnt trying to knock your rankings, I think its great you are doing it, just putting in my 2 cents and I misunderstood the theory behind the numbers. David, how is the jungle these days? I enjoyed your contest for the years I played there, you guys do a great job with it. (I've just tried to economize on lges now that use the same scoring to save myself time over the last yr).

WOODERSON, YOU MAKE SOME GOOD POINTS, somebody has a great 3 weeks and never does anything again , yet there at the top of the standings.
Then another guy can win five other leagues in three years and he's still behind him.
KING of QUEENS Peyton Manning
Gordon Gekko Trent Dilfer
That sounds about right to me. LOL HE HE HE HE
NFBC (NY) auction league champion!
Bad(ass)Angels

He who steps to me in 2005, you better realize you dont have enough jive..... TURKEY!

1) I apparently read the rankings wrong so you are correct, my information was wrong, you can null and void my post. Im all over the place on missing the boat on this thread.

2) I love The Donald!!!!

3) Even though I call you Trent Dilfer and stand behind that :D .... I am sincere in my comments about you winning it all. That was a great job, and nobody can take that from you, and contrary to what many think, you are good for the game even though I dont agree with a lot of your suggestions. If everyone took fantasy as seriously as you did, the industry would really be cracking.

Its hard to keep up with different variations and bonus scoring, etc..especially if you do alot of leagues.

Things are well, we just put out Golf and are doing something new with baseball. When we get closer, I will send you a couple promo teams so you can check out the new baseball spin.

If Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl with no help from his defense and got paid 10x what Peyton Manning did for the time they both played ... I'll rank Trent higher. :D
