Preseason Games Commentary Thread

The NFL preseason finally kicks off tonight with a slate of games. How about we use this thread as the place where we can talk about we're seeing on the field? So chime in here with your thoughts, analysis and commentary on the preseason action.

It's great to finally be kicking off the NFL season. Even if it's only the preseason.

Philip Rivers to Vincent Jackson looked great on San Diego's first drive. VJax could be a monster this season.

Vjax has been consistently dropping in the second round to the folks who pick 1-5 letting them pair a stud RB with a top WR. That might not keep happening as August rolls on.

VJax has an ADP of 28.05 right now. If you're picking at the end of the first in an NFFC draft, you could go stud QB, top RB and VJax and be off to a great start. Or stud WR, top RB and VJax. Nice starts either way.

I posted and Tweeted today that Brent Celek and Michael Vick have been on the same page much better so far in camp. Vick's first TD of the preseason went to Celek.

how about mathews? Looked OK. Tolbert started and came in when the Chargers got inside the 10 and caught a short TD from Rivers. It's just one series in the first preseason game but this currently looks like a full-blown committee.
