We (NFFC) need to fix the FA system from blind bidding to eBay style bidding.

I am sick of guessing what others are going to bid. Like you guys know what your doing anyway

The way to assure that the person who is willing to spend the most for a free agent gets the FA … is eBay style bidding. The reason eBay uses auction style is because it brings in the most money. If blind bidding did … eBay would use blind bidding instead ... Trust me ... they are not leaving money on the table.

Bids would go up … and we would no longer play the game of what will others bid for this guy.

It's a Dumb game.

Instead … it will be … what is the max dollars this FA worth to me (without automatically giving that amount of money if no one else wants him … you would get the player for ONE more dollar than the second highest bid). If we were holding this in person … there is NO way we would be putting numbers in a jar and having the biggest bid win the player … we would have an auction and the guy willing to pay one more buck than the last would get the player (like the NFFC auction draft).

Why ... because it is the BEST WAY.

This would truly make FA’s like an auction … not a guessing game. It makes no sense why we don't auction players off in FA ... like in an auction draft or eBay.

Anyone disagree? I could not disagree more. This is a wonderful exercise that some people do very well and other do not so well.

I think this statement sums it up...."I am sick of guessing ......"

Its not guessing and if you are guessing then you are at a disadvantage.

The person who cut him has S Jackson, two Denver starters and two other NE starters ... he had to cut someone. He doesn't think Maroney will be the guy in NE ... he very well could be right.

Snake nice scoop on Antonio Bryant with Galloway out and Griese throwing 67 times a game you may have something. To be honest if i could have Maroney or Bryant starting a new team i would take Bryant.
Bryant was one of my sleepers this year and drafted him in three leagues , and yes i had him active last week in the Snake Classic.

Its not guessing and if you are guessing then you are at a disadvantage. Seriously ... You must be doing very well in the two main events FA.

In the last two weeks we picked up Morris Sea, Maroney NE and Curtis PHIL and a few other possible starters. Who have you picked that is so much better than those three? (since I am failing so bad at the FA stuff). I would like to know who a real genius has been able to pick up ... or are you saving you money for week 15 ;)
