NNOY -- on a similarly interesting note:

I woke up today at around 5:25. Then i got out of bed and went to the shower. In the shower I used soap and shampoo to clean myself. Before I left the shower, I turned the water off. Then I stepped out of the shower and dried myself off with a towel. Then I brushed my teeth. First, i brushed the upper right, then the upper left. Then I moved on to the lower left, only to follow that up with the lower right. Following the brushing, I rinsed my mouth and turned my attention to drying my hair. I accomplished this with the use of a towel initally, then a plug in hair dryer. After using the dryer, I combed my hair. Then it was off to the bedroom to get dressed. I used the right sock/left sock/undershirt/pants/shirt methodology, switching up from my earlier right sock/left sock/pants/undershirt/shirt technique. After that, I moved on to the kitchen, where I had a drink of water and a pop tart. The water came from my Brita filter and was consumed from an 8 oz. glass. The pop tart was cinammon and quite delicious. I put on my jacket (after removing it from the coat closet) and opened my front door. A quick turn of the key locked the door. Then it was on to the elevator! I pressed the button and waited for the elvator to come. Once it arrived, I pressed the "b" button (for basement) and proceeded to descend to the basement level. Then I got out of the elevator and moved towards the external door.
Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

NNOY, I can see taking one hurt player and getting some value when he returns, but to take picks 2-3 and put them on players that are going to miss 2-3 more weeks is so risky. I don't know of another drafting strategy with more risk, and a more proven lowewr rate of return.

There's a much greater chance that after week 3 of this, you'll be 100+ points behind 7-8 teams, and when they do come back, your team *might* only be slightly better than the best team drafted last night.

You might be right about CAR RB situation, and guess what, you might be wrong. From my commish chair, those that talk in "absolutes" all the time are almost always proven to be wrong.

Also, what happens if Edge goes down next week? You are so screwed with the lack of depth created by SD and DM out.
Jules is a Dirt bag and makes my luck.

I Cojones what happened after you moved toward the door?

Obviously there are some people that would like to know what goes into the rationale thinking process for taking a QB in both the 4th and 5th rounds. I simply provided that insight. If you don’t care then don’t take the time to read the post.

From today’s Charlotte Observer and Panthers.com:

“Foster, after two games starting while Stephen Davis recovers from knee surgery, has either lost yardage or been stopped for no gain on 17 carries.”

Comments from Carolina Panthers Head Coach John Fox following the team's practice.

On how running back Stephen Davis practiced: He looked good. He moved around good. We'll have to wait and see what kind of effect the work had (on his knee) after practice.

On what will determine if Davis plays against the Broncos: It's a combination of everything. That is why we say day-to-day because we evaluate it everyday. I think it (knee) held up good and he looked good in practice today. We'll see what kind of effect (practice) has on it and we'll look at it from there.

Sure does NOT sound like Davis will be out past this week at worst.

Plus Deuce is already running, I don’t expect him to miss more than one more game either.

The beauty of the total points format is I can mitigate any games he may miss by playing a WR at Flex or George on the Edge’s bye week, but if he puts up a 30-35 point monster game I will get all the points and gain an advantage the likes of which the Ty Wheatley and L. Henry owners have NO chance at seeing. Deuce if you recall fell apart late last yr and did nothing this yr before going down. In his last 5 games going back to last season (excluding the injury game), he averaged ...

95 all-purpose yds
4.2 receptions
0.4 fumbles

That's 11 pts per game. His BEST gm was 17.5.
